Financial Support

Cystic fibrosis can bring its own financial burden, so the CF Trust provide a range of grants for people with cystic fibrosis and their families that struggle to meet these – review the attached link to their document.

Locally, the East Devon Quality of Life fund offers financial support via the facebook group and website.

Personal Independence Payment (PIP) helps with some of the extra costs caused by long-term ill-health or a disability if you’re aged 16- 64. The CF Trust document talks you through how to apply, the assessment criteria and how to reflect your needs appropriately – an adviser is available through the CF Trust to support you with this if needed. Email: helpline@cysticfibrosis.org.uk

The Joseph levy Fund can help support young people with CF wanting to go into higher education – www.jlef.org.uk

As a team we may not be able to resolve your financial issues but do talk to us as we may be able to identify ways to support you further and signpost you to those who can help.
